1. How to Enter. The Sam Torrance Cup Sweepstakes are open to participants who enter by paper ballot at The Glenlivet City Links events in Orlando, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Denver, and Seattle (dates at: www.glenlivetcitylinks.com). Entry may be made between January 1, 2008 and June 30, 2008. Void to residents of CA, UT, and where otherwise taxed, prohibited or restricted by law. Tennessee residents may not enter Sweepstakes via the Internet. You must include on entry forms your complete name, e-mail address, zip code, date of birth, and email address. All entrants must have a valid email address. In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.

If entering over the internet:
The potential winner will be required to provide Sponsor (defined below) with proof that such winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. Any other attempted form of entry is prohibited; no automatic, programmed; robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor, its affiliates, partners, agencies and any entities involved with the administration or fulfillment of this Sweepstakes are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, Web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one's ability to enter the Sweepstakes, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes.

Eligible individuals are entitled to only one entry. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, technically corrupted or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor.

2. Eligibility. Participation open only to legal residents of the U.S., age 21 and over as of January 1, 2008. Void in CA, UT, Puerto Rico and outside the continental US, and where otherwise taxed, prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, officers & directors of VisitScotland, ("Sponsor"), The Glenlivet, Delta Airlines and their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, manufacturers or distributors of sweepstakes materials and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York, U.S.A. without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. By participating, entrants agree that any and all disputes arising out of or relating in any way to this Sweepstakes shall be litigated only in courts sitting in New York, NY, U.S.A.

3. Drawing. Two winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received (one winner will be selected from the New York entrants, and one winner from other The Glenlivet City Links cities stated above). Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for each drawing. Drawings will be conducted by Aptinet, an independent judging organization, on or about July 1, 2008. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

4. Prizes. Two (1) Grand Prizes each consisting of: A golfing trip for two to Scotland, consisting of round-trip coach-class airfare from New York (or connecting Delta Airlines hub) on Delta Airlines to Edinburgh, 4-night, 5-day,hotel accommodations (double occupancy, bed and breakfast included) in Scotland. Each winner must chose 1 additional traveler, who must be aged 21-years or older at time of winner's entry. The guest of the winner must agree to be bound by these rules. The winner and companion must have a handicap of 28 for men/36 for women or above. Each Grand Prize includes: 2 nights accommodation in Speyside, 2 nights accommodation in St Andrews, car rental for 5 days, plus participation in the Sam Torrance tournament and 2 x places at Sam Torrance gala dinner at Fairmont Hotel on 9 September, private tour at The Glenlivet whisky distillery. Winner and travel companions must depart on September 5, and return on September 10th, 2008 or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing from all remaining eligible entries.

Each prize has an approximate retail value of $10,000 US dollars.

All travel and accommodations are at the winners' and travel companions' risk.

4. Notification. Winners will be notified by email and will be required to sign and return, where legal, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) days of prize notification. Travel companion will also be required to sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release, prior to issuance of prize elements. If winner cannot be contacted, if any prize is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with these Sweepstakes rules and requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.

5. Conditions. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Participation in Sweepstakes and acceptance of prize constitutes winner's permission for Sponsor to use his/her name, address (city and state), likeness, biographical information and any statements made by winner regarding the Sweepstakes or Sponsor for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants, winner and travel companions agree to release and hold harmless VisitScotland, ("Sponsor"), The Glenlivet, Delta Airlines, their respective advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Sponsor is not responsible if any prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, blackout dates, delays or interruptions due to Acts of God, Acts of War, natural disasters, weather or terrorism. Winner and winner's travel companion must travel on the same itinerary, and must be available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor. Winner and travel companion are responsible for obtaining any necessary documentation (e.g., valid passport, photo ID, etc.) prior to travel. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this Sweepstakes in any way shall be disqualified. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. There is no purchase or sales presentation required to participate. A purchase does not increase odds of winning. The prize is not transferable in any way and must be taken by the designated winner and his/her chosen travel companions. The winner and travel companions are responsible for their own passports and travel insurances.

6. Additional Terms. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor will select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Web site.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

7. Use of Data. Sponsors will be collecting personal data about participants when they enter the Sweepstakes online, in accordance with its privacy policy. Marketing information will be sent only to entrants who have "opted-in" to receive further information from VisitScotland, The Glenlivet and its affiliates. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policy.
