The 18th green is just the beginning
Any golfing aficionado would be able to tell you that this is the home of the illustrious Old Course at St Andrews. But Perthshire and the Kingdom of Fife has a lot more to offer than just a quick game of golf.
Things you must do in Perthshire
Golf
Can’t get a tee time at the Old Course, there are still almost fifty other courses where you can whittle down your handicap – including St. Andrews’ Duke Course, or Kingsbarns Links.

The Fife Tourist Route
A picture postcard drive through the colorful fishing villages along the coast. Buy some lustrous Scottish crystal after watching it be made at the Caithness Glass Centre in Perth. Talk a walk though the dramatically beautiful Pass of Killiecrankie.

Blair Castle
Begun in 1269, this is the ancestral home to Clan Murray, and headquarters to the only private army still standing in the UK, the Atholl Highlanders.
