A natural grace
It has always been known as ‘the Gateway to the Highlands,’ but in reality this does Perthshire an injustice, as the heartland of Scotland has so much more to offer everyone than just being a thoroughfare. To the east in the Kingdom of Fife is St Andrews, the home of golf and the highly esteemed Old Course, the dream destination for golfing fanatics around the globe.

If culture is more your thing, travel to the cities of Perth and Dundee. Perth, once the capital of Scotland, is home to the Round House, now the Fergusson Gallery, and one of the most impressive collections of works by Scottish watercolorist J.D. Fergusson. Dundee’s trendy Contemporary Arts Centre is quickly becoming one of Europe’s most progressive galleries, with Dundee Art School also fast gaining recognition among UK’s leading art schools. Why not stop by the Art Bar and get in on the latest cultural debate with the newest generation of Scotland’s contemporary art stars?
